'Just stay quiet, I think it's blind.'
We cowered behind our rowing boat, not even daring to look back but somehow my heart kept beating confidently. Nerve-racked, blood curdling and spine chilling, I started slowly standing, but the more I did this, the more scared I suddenly became. Something stopped me from cowardly hiding.
I was so horrified, my feet were glued to the decking. I thought to myself, 'Would I ever escape this nightmare?' I muttered into thin air, 'Jump on the beast's back.' I was so scared now, I felt like a knife stabbed me in the stomach. How could I abscond? I saw the reflection: scales as green as earth. We wouldn't escape. When the beat turned, I suddenly jumped on the monster's back.
